The NHS West Midlands Toxicology
Laboratory offers a wide range of specialist services.
These include: analytical (clinical), forensic and occupational toxicology;
Screening for: drugs of abuse,
(inc. spiked drinks), laxative abuse, unknown drugs, solvents,
spiked drinks, sulphonylureas, thiazide diuretics and occupational
screening;
Monitoring of: essential and non-essential
trace elements, therapeutic drugs
Our Mission: To provide an efficient, rapid and high quality
service in clinical toxicology.
