New Oral Fluid Drug Testing Services

We have now introduced an enhanced oral fluid drugs of abuse screen and confirmation service. This service includes:

• LC-MS/MS screen and confirmation all-in-one
• Low limits of detection for this clinical service
• Detection of newer street 'drugs' including 4-MEC (NRG-2), meow meow (mephedrone), bath salts (MDVP) mKhat (cathinone) and more .....

Ethylene & Diethylene Glycol Service

We offer a service for plasma ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol. This is available  during working hours with a  turn round of 2 hours. Out of normal working hours and at weekends we try and provide a service but this depends on staff being available as we do not have a formal on-call service for this test. You can discuss requirements with the Consultant Biochemist On-Call through the SWBH Switchboard (Tel: 0121 554 3801).  Further details including downloadable address label... This will enable us to keep to our target turn round times and continue to develop the services we provide to hospitals around the UK.
